Deep Blue Technology is engaged in the business of design, development, manufacture, sales and service of innovative hardware, firmware and software products especially in the field of embedded technology. The Company is a pioneer in the indigenous development of Vehicle Tracking Systems ( VTS ), also sometimes known as Automatic Vehicle Locators ( AVL ).
The Company is an incubate of Science & Technology Park, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, with a charter to develop and commercialize cutting edge technology in socially relevant areas. The Science & Technology Park is located in the campus of the University of Pune and its main objective is to promote Public – Private cooperation in development and commercialization of cutting edge technology in socially relevant areas.

VTS is a new field in India but growing at an explosive pace, especially after increased public awareness for strengthening anti-terror measures following the Mumbai blasts.
The Company enjoys a unique position by virtue of its association with the Department of Science & Technology on the basis of which preference may be given in requirements from Municipalities, State & Central Govts., Defense and paramilitary agencies.
Unlike other players in the Indian market, the Deep Blue VTS system has been fully designed and developed in-house in cooperation with the Science and Technology Park and is not dependant on pre coded chips from China / Taiwan, which is absolutely vital for ensuring top security of sensitive data. Also, since the system is designed & developed in house, it is highly amenable to customization and modularity which none of the other players are able to provide. These two factors enable the company to clearly stand out from the rest of the players in the market.
